We all flew over to NYC over the 4th of July weekend to visit Aunty Maiko, Sean, Hanna, and Pepper!!
Pepper’s been pampered by Hanna so much that the world almost revolved around him now!!
Daddy only stayed till Mon when he flew back. We were here all the way till Friday!! NYC is awesome and the museums are out-of-this-world!!!! Wish there were more stuff like this in Dallas!
There’s a swallow’s nest at our house!! Every single day, their mommy & daddy will swoop in all day with food and goodies for the lil chicks to munch on. And then they poop.
Can’t wait to see them all fly!
Share on FacebookWe woke up bright and early to go blackberry picking at this farm. 4:30am to be exact! Coz they open at 7am and we had to pick Selena up along the way and drive all the way to the farm that was out in the boonies.
But it was real fun though! I munched and picked all at the same time. And at the end of the day, we came back with 2 buckets full of blackberries!! We ate them everyday for the next entire week will we got a lil’ blue ourselves…
We finally took a summer dip in our pool. I can’t believe that we’ve only been in like 4 times over the last three years or so! Maybe this summer we’ll use it more often!
We spent a few days near Corpus Christi at the beach. We picked up a whole bunch of sand dollar shells and even got to take our first dip in the ocean. Clean ocean that is!
We also got to travel over the water in a big boat that carried us in our car!! Daddy was driving and we had to take this ferry and cross the islands each time we left our hotel!
We went back to San Francisco again this Spring to visit the tide pools, Redwood forests, and take in some much-needed Pacific air….. ahhhhhh. And build sand castles, visit my newest lil’ cousin Rinna, and visit the tide pools again!
Daddy had some work to do there but once that was taken care of, it was WHEEEEEEEEE all the way!!!
After our recent African Safari adventure, we decided to rough it out on a camping trip in the jungles of our garden!! It was sooooo exciting!! Daddy pitched a 6-man tent that he bought a loooong time ago when he drove across America from California to Boston to be with Mommy. Apparently, he wanted to rough it out too during that long road trip, but in spacious luxury. We don’t think it worked out coz that was when he started accumulating his Hilton Hotel Honor points…
Anyway, we had a blast coz we had a midnight storytelling adventure under our cozy comforters with flashlights, we heard the pitter-patter of an early morning drizzle, we had hot cocoa and marshmallows in the morning, and we chased away 2 grizzly bears!!
We went strawberry-a-pickin today with my friend Selena and Christian’s friends Shawn and Skylar today! There were soooo many huge, red, and juicy strawberries that we didn’t know what to pick! So we ended up with about 12 pounds and after we ate about half of them in the car, Mommy went out to pick some more for home.
After that, we went to a Safari Adventure where we fed all sorts of animals from our car! I finally got grossed out when the gazelle got too friendly and slobbered all over my hand. But Christian didn’t care. He fed anything that moved outside of our car, even the Zebras & Giraffes!!! Then he grossed Mommy out when he started putting his hands all over her face!
